Beyond changing the criteria for listing decisions, other changes include removing automatic protections for threatened" species through "blanket rules", and making it harder to designate critical habitat in areas not currently occupied by a listed species.

Rather than basing such decisions purely on science, economics would be added as a consideration – putting profits over the environment, and paving the way for development projects in ecologically sensitive habitats across the country.

Not only would the revisions weaken vital protection for more than 1,700 plants and animals currently listed under the ESA, but it would also change the criteria by which new species and critical habitats gain protection.

Its content seems quite good. However, I wonder if its value is limited by the current engagement mechanism, since research shows the timing of such information impacts trust. Perhaps it could be integrated into a browser extension, or something similar to enable more direct, contextual interaction.
