My visit to Philly was so good this weekend. Lots of good times, good sites, good food, good friends. Last con as a 30-something and I must say, not too shabby. I especially like the second one. These will definitely last me until the next time I see the tall boy again. 🩵

Update: the fledglings hatched a little more than a week ago and have almost outgrown the nest on my door. I’m thinking it’s only days until they fly the nest and go live the rest of their lives.

This morning I noticed I have a few new cohabitants on my property — specifically my front door wreath. I’m happy to give them a home, but sadly they refuse to assist with the monthly payments. 😜 Guess I won’t be using my front door for a while. 🪺

Escaping reality and getting in some sun and fun for the next week. I could not be more excited. 🌊🛳️

Today had fewer steps taken, lots more line waiting, and more stress than I needed. I almost missed my Billie auto but made it just in time. Matt Smith and Jenna were lovely. Freema was such a delight. I really hope to see her again at a future con. 🩷

I neglected to share my ops from yesterday. These should be enough to last me until I see him in again August. ☺️🩷 Also…when will I ever learn/remember that I need to look directly at the f-ing camera?! 🤦🏼‍♀️

15,000+ steps and a lot of standing in line later, Friday at MegaCon was mega successful. 😊 #myfeethurt

Snow! In Houston! Here is the first round of pics I’m going to share. I’m not a huge fan of snow (especially since Snowpocalypse ‘21) but this is a great distraction from everything. I have to work…BUT I’m going out again in a bit to frolic and make a snow angel or two. And get more pics & vids. ❄️☃️

I took a cookie decorating class today. I’m kind of obsessed with baking shows so I wanted to give it a try. It was so fun but definitely not as easy as the pros make it look on tv. BUT I don’t think I did too terribly for my first time. I definitely want to do this again in the future. 👩‍🍳🎅🏼❤️🎄
