I'm from Missouri. I can confirm that the ass we suck is absolute.

I live and work in Missouri, have been here my whole life, and while I think there are many things to love about Missouri, MAGA has overrun it entirely outside the enclaves of KC and STL. It will always be the place I'm from, but I am unsure if it can be my home any longer.

I know Mamdani has to do it because there is simply no way around it when one is the mayor of NYC, but you couldn't pay me enough money to shake Trump's hand. I could never survive in politics.

There is a reason why displaying it is illegal in Germany. I believe in the First Amendment and its importance to American identity, but some things are just wrong. Nazis are definitely one of those things.

What the actual fuck
November 21, 2025 at 2:05 PM
They won't. Because the Democrats are not a functional party either. The only people in Congress who care about regular people at all are progressives.

However, the ethics of training and data-scraping need to be addressed as soon as possible. These AI companies steal from artists, academics, creators of all kinds. It's disgusting and we need regulations.
November 20, 2025 at 2:28 PM
I genuinely think part of the problem is that people consistently repeat the same mistakes throughout history when it comes to new technologies. We need sustainable, environmentally friendly AI, not this mad speculative rush driven by fear of falling behind.
November 20, 2025 at 2:25 PM
Aside from the very obvious terrible thing, you mean?
November 20, 2025 at 2:17 PM
Who's*
November 20, 2025 at 2:07 PM
I loathe Gavin Newsom. He is not what we need. We need progressives, not another establishment hack whose only a Democrat because he does politics in California.

It can be difficult for a lot of people, not just older folks. AI is a blight. Artists are probably best at immediately recognizing AI, but it continues to improve at theft. The main things for me are the lighting and texture and framing of the images (asides from any extra fingers or bad anatomy)

I am so glad someone remembers this. Literally buried in the desert.

A great example of how a poem's first line is actually the title

Exactly!

I'm a graphic designer. I have designed book covers. Often, we do use images within the design that we did not create or photographs we did not take. But those all came from human beings and are used with consent as part of the collaboration. This is none of that.

It's more America's style to help disappear people from other countries, honestly.
November 19, 2025 at 2:38 PM
More insulting to this very cute and tenacious dog than it is to Abbot.
November 19, 2025 at 2:21 PM
I am assuming you are referring to the death of local journalism as a bedrock of information media and not literally disappeared journalists.
November 19, 2025 at 2:19 PM
It's not gossip and rumors lmao. Just do the bare minimum research on the toll these data centers take. On the sheer volume of water they consume. Literally read anything and educate yourself on the very real threat. These tech oligarchs do not give a shit about the planet.
November 18, 2025 at 7:05 PM
You realize that generative AI itself has enormous negative environmental impact, right? I don't care if you made this on your own machine, AI companies are killing the planet even faster so people can make more and more slop

If I could follow you twice, I would!

I have to ask if this painting is for sale. Normally, I buy pieces from local artists or make my own, but this painting immediately took me back to my dad's small Alaskan town, to the all the birch trees blanketing the valley.

Challenge? What challenge? The election isn't going to be fair. Orbán isn't leaving of his own accord.
November 17, 2025 at 2:02 PM
I think Bezos absolutely knows the myth, including how it ends. But they don't care about that. Techlords see themselves as the only ones guiding humanity towards the future, the only ones "giving us fire." They are calling themselves titans. That is the part which matters to them.
