I REALLY wanted to get one of the watchers as central figure because I adore them. I think they're one of the coolest looking things in a game ever, but they never really fit in the original thumbnail we made.

I felt really inspired looking at the cover and when I got home threw this together. I did two different treatments on the white text just to try it, but the first one just looks a lot more interesting.

I believe the text on the left hand side is from some of the novellas, the figures of Caim and Furiae I used come from these pieces of offical art idk where the images I used for the background are from. I believe they're both from magazine ads.

I knew she was wanted to talk about End of Evangelion as a point of inspiration. I asked her "what's your favorite EoE poster, that isn't THAT ONE". Sam sent me this! I color picked off it for the background and tried to match the font to the one used in Eva.

So before we got to the one we ended up using, Sam and I hopped into a call and this is what we came up with this. It's much more dense and textured, I liked this one a lot but I felt like Sam wasn't 100% satisfied with it/ I wanted to give her more options.

When I made the fake SJ monthly cover I had this issue with Ichigo on the cover right next to me, but then I realized I stole the idea for Ultimo have a green/ yellow sunburst from his debut issue.

I ended up using this for the song list but with the colors muted, I think it's idea wise a perfected version of what I was first going for. But again it makes the gay of the series a little too on the nose for what I wanted.

this was my first attempt, really rough. Leans a little too hard in to the queerer aspects of the video (light spoilers) than I wanted the thumbnail to. Also it's just busy and hard to read.

Or folks could try some Rider! If folks aren't feeling 50+ episode long kids shows there's a lot of grittier more accessible stuff out there.
