Unimpressed with Copilot != unimpressed with AI in general, lol

Before heading to the gym, I quickly hand over three tasks to the GitHub Copilot Agent to work on in parallel in the background while I work out. Ready to be reviewed when I come back. What a time to be alive!

I can't believe that Windows is still showing me ads on a freshly installed machine. How much are they making out of it? It can't be worth the shitstorm.

In Visual Studio Code, you can now delegate //TODO comments to an agent! This is cool!

What to do in between two jobs? Start another side project, of course! So I started a weekly tech newsletter! https://whatdidimiss.io

Every Friday, I send out a handpicked list of news articles on AI, tech business, software development, and industry breakthroughs. Unexcited, no fluff, jargon-free.

Agents.md fixes the chaos of AI coding agent configuration. Project-specific AI instructions have been fragmented: CLAUDE.md, .cursorrules, ...

The future: A universal spec, already adopted by over 20k open-source projects. Let's all migrate to Agents.md and leave the mess behind!

My friend skipped our meeting. His AI didn’t. Whoops, I trash-talked to the note taker, which now thinks he runs an airline cleaning crew. As a result, it added some very disturbing tasks to his to-do list. Consider it payback for leaving me hanging. Sorry, Mike! 😘

Ey @sonarqube.bsky.social, you should protect me from security vulnerabilities and not become one!

The success of LangChain, an open-source framework for building AI applications, is wild! In Python, LangChain is now downloaded more often than the official OpenAI SDK.

That’s more than a stat, it’s a signal: flexible, open tooling wins the heart and minds of developers. ❤️

One of us had to change the name. As you can see, LinkedIn is still called LinkedIn, so my Browser Extension is now "Make Social Media Great Again".

As a result, the Apple Gods now allow me to publish it as a Safari Extension. Safari users, your timeline is now 💩-free too.

I created a Custom GPT for @todo_cast - and I should’ve done this sooner. It helps with recurring tasks like formatting episode descriptions or turning notes into scripts, all with our context baked in. Game-changer!

A new version of Local Calendar Sync is out. For those who don't know: It keeps work and personal calendars in sync.

- Support for different event availabilities
- Faster, improved sync algorithm
- Optionally hide the Menu Bar icon

What should I add next?

I added this to my ChatGPT personalization after seeing it on LinkedIn the other day, and it helped to have less of a „Yes Man“.

It's 2025, and I’m still excited about AI efficiency! In just minutes, you can turn an only web-based eBook into a PDF for an E-Ink reader. Some code inspection and a quick back-and-forth session with ChatGPT, and a Python script that screenshots each page and compiles it into a PDF can be crafted.
