My wife saw this leaf on a morning walk. She thought about picking it up but let it lie for the rest of the world to enjoy.

Later, I showed her this picture of the most beautiful leaf I'd seen on my walk. The same one!

Why didn't we walk together, you might ask. I guess, in some ways, we did.

First snow of 2025 leaves a dusting of white on my driveway. A silver Hyundai's hood and windshield is covered and red leaves on the driveway look cold and brittle. The colors are muted. The scene is at night, lighted by a porch lamp.

Pretty lake scene. Trees have lost leaves, but in the middle there is one filled with bright orange leaves leaning over the lake. A ridge of pretty fall trees line the background and a simple dock with a ladder on the end of it struts out into the lake. The scene gives us an image of peace and calm in the changing seasons.

I take a lot of obviously pretty photos. Something about this one, looking through Fall's pretty colors to a tennis court parking lot, keeps me coming back to it.

A long exposure and a nice camera. Took this with my Pixel 8a... serves me pretty well for a phone. Your shot is amazing. Lovely.
A blue lake is surrounded by a ridge of winter trees. The trees are reflected in the water. But the prettiest image is a cluster of white clouds that are also visible in the blue water.

At the end of yesterday's rally, as people said farewells and headed toward their cars, a bee caught my eye.
