Indie author and webcomic creator. I write comics too weird and atypical for most fellow artists and readers. https://inky-intro.carrd.co/
a serial killer (the MC is not a psychopath though), like how the blatant disregard of ppl's privacy is deviant behavior yet to be normalized or like how an MC suffering from schizophrenia can only make for a clever plot device.

no character in this story is going to be quite likable, most are pathetic or perverted or selfish or cynical, the MC is all of these, yet far from being the worse. With this comic I want to challenge stupid, toxic beliefs that the culture constantly reinforces. Stuff like all a psychopath be is a

Depends. If you'd give Niko Scholl invisibility, he'd spend all his time in locker rooms and showers. But if he could heal others, he'd probably use it to make things better for many. Even if he'd have an attitude about being around people and in the center of attention.

Robin Sinclair tends to blame herself for all kinds of things going wrong around her. Theo Holloway is very good at finding ways to avoid having to confront his problems when they catch up with him. And Niko Scholl literally spies on women for his own sexual gratification. I'd say that's red enough.

Robin Sinclair is kind, she does what it takes to be a good mother. Theo Holloway is trying to be conscious about his flaws so he could do better. And Niko Scholl..., it ain't easy to find actual green flags about a pathetic sexual deviant. But I suppose he cares about others. A lot. In his own way.

Sandbox will deal with the question of finding ways to maintain or reignite our own humanity if we grew completely detached from the consequences of our actions and desensitized towards the suffering of others. But that is far down a road that is filled with tragicomic and dark humor. Follow, read!

Probably not from the Duck I presume. Yeah, most works aren't for everyone. Finding the few that actually love what you have to offer is the hardest part if you're different. I'm glad you didn't stop making it, as well. I'll probably find ways to keep going once I picked myself up from the blue. thx

That's true enough. I just need to find ways to enjoy it on the long run even if it never does better. But I no longer have the finances to invest in making comics the only way I know how to, so it'll probably be healthy to focus a little on just writing better and less soapy stuff instead.

works, one of which obviously hated it, so even if I don't end up hospitalized soon with whatever the hell these pains are, I think I better look for a new hobby, because I don't have what it takes to market myself as a creative.

...publish it in my native language, salvaging the maybe OK parts of Imago, Nebraska to build it up again from scratch, but I don't feel like I could ever live up to most ppl's standards, no matter how many months I'd spend on it and it took me almost 2 years to convince 3 locals to read and rate my

Interesting twists and character developments there. But in retrospect, it kinda felt like Rick Flag Sr. took a huge bet on this ending. Was his logic: "if this goes south, I can always just find a quiet room and beat him to death?
