Not been taking enough of an advantage of a very beautiful bay area. Biked around the north of San Francisco, the clouds rolling over the mountains on the north side of Golden Gate Bridge made the whole scene gorgeous. Also, great friends.

Met my congressman, Ro Khanna, in my new district. Made sure to show up in a Dark Brandon shirt. He talked a strong game on Keynesian economics so I am thrilled to have him as a congressman!

While researching my book I read a lot of nurse memoirs. This one was the best. It covers becoming a nurse, loving traveling, going to Vietnam, becoming disillusioned, joining the antiwar movement, and dealing with PTSD. Unfortunately, the author is no longer alive.

Should have done this for the Mother's Day threads. My mom and I hiking in the mountains outside of San Jose. My mom was a strong feminist activist my whole life, running for office, teaching women's history, and is now an artist.
