This is quite useful. The inbuilt browser in the app opens the starter packs in the background handily.
I went out for a meal last night, first meal out since… June? And I’m going “probably shouldn’t have another soft drink, it’s a bit pricey” and looking around and it’s all boomers with tables piled high with food and drink. Add on to the budget announcements. It’s a wonder millennials don’t riot.

Some millennials like me had almost a decade of pension contributions wiped out in 2008. Now, I can’t even pay in extra making myself poorer in the process without being penalised. And yet over 65s continue to have triple lock pensions *and* are exempt from new ISA limits for continued hoarding

I ended up with a £15bn surplus, with positive markets, and an increase in vote-share. Maybe I should be Chancellor? 😅

It’s James’ birthday today. Wish him happy birthday by subscribing to his weekly* newsletter.

*apart from today, when apparently having a birthday IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ENTERTAINING INTERNET STRANGERS. Disgraceful.
The newsletter this year falls on my birtthday.

Should I...

a) not do a newsletter
b) do a newsletter at the weekend
c) send a newsletter that says 'it's my birthday, so no newsletter - you are welcome to validate my existence and reply with 'happy birthday' though'

Austin Powers was set in 1967. If it was made today, it would be about a secret agent from 1995. Bonus fact, 1995 is when Goldeneye was released.

If Pushing Daisies can return for a 3rd series, I reckon we can get Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls back, too.

This SME marketing trend of the fake apology has to stop. It’s tacky, and makes me inclined to not use your product.

The casting for the upcoming Legend of Zelda live action movie looks superb. Both Link and Zelda look exactly how I would imagine them in real life!

Everyone getting excited for Diane Morgan joining the MCU because of Philomena Cunk. But, imagine if the casting agents were like “could you play it as ‘Mandy’?” Now *that* I would pay to see. Either way; I’m glad someone as talented as DM is getting a shot at Hollywood!

Rage bait posts on Quality Street can get in the bin. 1.9kg tin in Denmark, £47(!) roughly about the cost that the £9.49 1981 2.5kg tin would cost you in the UK now, with inflation.

Just watched the new Fantastic Four film. It wasn't bad, but it feels like it was missing a movie of plot. The world was lovely, and the cast great though. And yet, the film 'Tomorrowland' gets no love - which is far superior.
