Last night that Lake Superior waves are my lullaby for awhile. I sleep so well here, the rhythm of the waves and the fresh air rejuvenates me and reminds me of my childhood in Duluth- and simpler times.

The wall cloud that hit the North Shore. I was afraid of Lake Superior for the first time when this rolled in. Trees uprooted all around the cabin we rented from the down drafts, but luckily no one was injured- the only cabin hit by trees was unoccupied. No power but we have a nice fireplace
