Lost 4 out of our 5 ducks last week leaving one lone duck. Ducks are very social and don't do well alone. I was able to quickly find three to add to the pond. One Cayuga (Buddy) and two Swedish Blues (Lars and Lucas). Cotton now has three BFFs!

Met with the Dayton (OH) Urban Sketchers at Muddy Goose Coffee Co. last Thursday. Enjoyed the company, a Stroopwaffle Latte, and a piece of chocolate or two.

Current situation. Knitting on and enjoying the warmth of my Paris Toujours Shawl. Also enjoying my snowman tree as I watch the teasing snow flurries through the window. This live tree has lasted longer than any tree we've had in the past. I'll miss it when it has to come down.
