Glad to live in California, given the current state of things.
You mean Vladimir Putin? He’s the guy in charge.

Until recently I was working for a non-profit organization (not FA) that pays most employees minimum wage. Meanwhile, the CEO last year asked for a $2 million dollar bonus. I read that non-profits take advantage of people wanting to do good to pay them substandard wages.

Just as Twitter is losing more and more users. Coincidence?

Then J Doe reports what the people say back to the DNC, which the party can use to build a platform for congressional candidates and come up with battle plans for what to do if they regain the majority. That way they’re way ahead of the game in 2026 and these newbies have name recognition. (Final)

“By the way while I’m here I’d like you to meet J Doe. He/she/they are going to be running against the Republican who claims to represent you in 2026. They’re going to keep holding town halls for everyone in this district right up until the midterms.” (2)

It would go something like this- “Hi folks whose MAGA rep won’t show up to hear your concerns. Tell me what’s on your minds. Now, I’d really like to do something about all of that but I can’t because Dems are in the minority. Here’s what I am gonna do though.” (1)

What people shouldn’t do is fly drones loaded with pee or liquid poop filled balloons and drop them on unsold Teslas so that the smelly liquid gets in the vents and makes the car unsellable.

Good. Vote no on everything they want. They played games during Obama’s presidency and during Biden’s, time to use their own dirty tactics against them. No more mister nice guy.

Disastrously

Voter suppression did its job for sure. But we also stayed home and historically speaking low turnout means big Republican wins. They know this. Ergo why they pushed stories about Biden’s handling of Gaza. Those stories were designed to keep Dems home.

Plus the various civil rights marches- MLK, the 1993 March on Washington for gay civil rights, etc.

No AI. That’ll just eventually make it suck like Twitter because AI models are learning from right wing trolls. As for sports, social media apps don’t create content. If people want sports they should start talking sports or convince sports experts to join Bluesky.

I’m currently calling him the orange scourge, does that count?

You are correct, they’re unrelated. Also, electoral college votes are based on population. More people, more electors, that’s why CA has so many EC votes.

Why TF are any Dems voting yes on any of his nominees or plans?
February 5, 2025 at 8:34 PM
I’d like to think this is true but he’s running the Project 2025 playbook and since that is very much what the RNC has been working toward for decades I wouldn’t count on it.
