If a CostCo cake would suffice, then ASDA I'd expect to have one that would that would be fine 🍰

Oh wow, not a lot of calories that! I'm honestly still struggling to stay in the 1800-2000 range (I am now tracking again). Did plateau last week, but back to losing again so far this week. I wrote some notes up on my blog. Zero side effects in week 2, so now wondering whether to up dosage.

I had some advice to make sure you get before photos too — as changes can appear not just on the scales, and it’s good to have the evidence to convince yourself! Congrats though, first jab is the hardest as they say ;)

I was actually worried it was going to dull my taste/enjoyment of food but that isn’t the case at all … actually quite the opposite, it’s just easier to enjoy things in moderation

I took the advice to have plenty of water seriously and have thankfully been mostly side effect free, and went abdomen for what it’s worth. One day I thought I might be getting a headache (more from not eating enough I reckoned) but a bite to eat and some paracetamol sorted me right out.

Wait, where are you supposed to put speakers?! Have I been doing it wrong this whole time?! No wonder I keep losing AirPods 🤣

It was a little longer than I had expected before watching videos about it, but crazy thin, even with a needle phobia it of course was completely painless. The hardest bit for me was straight after where I was a bit shaky (almost like shock) but that went away pretty quickly. Good luck!

I’m still definitely in the process of shrinking portion sizes. I’ve somewhat accidentally had some massive salads over the last week, but agree completely on the apple. That’s all I’ve been having for breakfast and it’s great. I’m also sleeping loads better which has been a surprise to me.

That’s fantastic, I’ve definitely had a few snacks but the *need* was different. I slipped and got some yesterday, but only had half the packet. That’s unheard of for me, so I’m quite pleased. I think I’ve timed it quite nicely with “salad weather” so main meals being healthy has been quite easy.

I would imagine the effectiveness does vary massively from celeb-to-celeb, and agree that influence must extend past the celebs own fanbase for those who are household names. I don't understand why it works, but companies wouldn't still be doing it if they didn't think they were getting a return

If nothing else, for me the fact that they are paid to say something (positive presumably) entirely undermines any and all credibility of what it is they're saying – but clearly people don't think like me (for better or for worse 😉)

I think social proof/influence just is that powerful a phenomenon ... it's why influencers are a) named as such and b) take ad money even at comparatively tiny numbers. The accepted wisdom certainly seems to be correct and worth-it – though certainly I agree that for me personally I don't "get it"
