Not sure there’s anyone on the planet who can replace Salah if he goes. We will strengthen from a higher starting point than the others you mentioned, we will compete very strongly next year again with less crippling injuries.

I’m betting at least two of their stars leave in the summer too. Fill in some gaps in our squad and we are right there again, no doubt.

Honestly wouldn’t be that bothered about this game but Gary Neville is getting on the nerves. Newcastle have been decent but talking like they are masters and then talking about us as if great teams can’t lose a game every now and then too.

He’s better than Jesus in many ways that count, being fit and scoring goals. Full potential Jesus may be a better footballer but Watkins is certainly a better striker than a rarely fit and stuttering for confidence Jesus!

A shame really, pre-injury she was really in fantastic form. Remember one game at home vs Chelsea where Reiten didn’t stand a chance! Fox being brilliant always against her too.

It’s a fair debate, summer window will just likely have more options. I’d back us to be the most attractive option for him in the summer but if not and you have to sign right now there probably isn’t anyone better than Watkins available.
