You know, after seeing some cities in Norway, and hearing from my Filipino wife's relatives who live there as immigrants, how good life is, it is time for the US to give up its sovereignty to Norway, copy and paste those laws here. One week of work on, one week off. Free education and health care.

Got back recently from Alesund, Norway (designated as the most beautiful city in the country) went at the right time, low season, no tourists. Had a blast especially as my wife's relatives drove us up to Trollstigen.

Funny that, in Norway, a relative of my wife works one week, has a week off, as a nurse, he has three patients instead of 10 or 20 in America. 16 days of sick leave, if he or the parent had a child, 10 more days. Free education and free health care. Oh....only ten cops for the city of Alesund.

With wife, Mila and niece at New Waita Beach, Kitakyushu-city Japan, next to Green Park and the largest collection of kangaroos you can pet, talk with. Lots of new gigantic windmills. This beach / harbor (farther to the left) was to compete with Fukuoka Harbor and it took ten years to build.

Here is a fable from my book of Christian fables which required a LOT more research and work than either my Buddhist or Japanese fables, or New Aesopian ones! Enjoy. Also, a Meiji era New Years card to supplement.
