Companies that benefit from tariffs. Business that source their products from a blend of sources will benefit, since they will add the tariff cost not just to those things that they pay a tariff on. They will still add the tariff amount to non-tariff items and then pocket the additional charge.

One group that benefits from tariffs is banks. When an importer has to pay a tariff, they borrow ‘commercial paper’ to cover it. They than pass on the tariff and interest on the loan to retailer. Tariffs also drive up interest rates, which benefits banks
