I read the 90s Justice League books for Fire and Ice and Blue and Gold. I was pretty upset when the writers changed and Fire and Ice's characters were stripped of all but the most tired and cliche character traits. Ice's death made me stop reading the series. Pointless.

We were on track to elect a party and leader who are in the same vein as Maga and mimic many of its views. Its only when Trump started with the "51st state / we don't need Canada / Canada is unfair to us" stuff that there was a realignment.

I live in the greater toronto area. Once I ordered a Buffalo Bison winter hat. It went from Buffalo to Syracuse to New York to New Jersey then to Montreal and then to Toronto then back east to my suburb. Took two weeks. I can drive to Buffalo in just over 2 hours.

Can't stop thinking about the argument about why they should be able to suck up any IP, which amounted to "if you don't let us do it, we won't be able to do it." It's so godamn surreal how this thing has integrated itself into every aspect of our society like a weird parasite from a bad TNG episode.

The other day I was thinking that with the death of traditional media & rise of independent journalists like yourself, there's an opportunity for a new kind of journalists' federation that could pool resources for legal, production and a kind of seal of professionalism. Like the old UA studio.
