dad, data eng, probably tired
I've been pretty impressed with the new experimental gemini models google has been pushing out recently. That said I work a lot with GCP stuff, so it helps that they seem to be very familiar with the platform.

It's taking a while for me to get used to typing `deno task dev` as opposed to `npm run dev`

On a side note, I've been using Google's newest experimental model (gemini-exp-1121 lol) in Cursor for the past two days and it seems really good. Equal or better compared to the competition.

Actually I think I need a proper layout component where I set up the main styles.

Next I need to figure out a font. ChatGPT suggest Futura or Roboto. I'm too cheap for Futura and Roboto's already everywhere, but there are bunch of Futura inspired fonts like Poppins, which I'll give a go fonts.google.com/specimen/Pop...

Both ChatGPT and Claude suggested a bunch of colours they associate with Nagai, adding these to the tailwind configuration was super easy:

I've been vibing with Hiroshi Nagai's works recently and wanted to take some inspiration from his work en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiroshi...

Alright, my train is coming to the station. Will pick this up later.
November 21, 2024 at 5:37 PM
woop woop we've got tailwind working
November 21, 2024 at 5:37 PM
So you don't actually install tailwind, instead the package is @astrojs/tailwind
November 21, 2024 at 5:29 PM
Cool, astro has a "devtoolbar" that pops up when you run the dev server
November 21, 2024 at 5:24 PM
Ok so to install an "integration" to Astro, you can either run `npx astro add my-package` or first install the package via npm and then add the integration manually to you astroconfig file.
November 21, 2024 at 5:23 PM
cool cool astro supports tailwind, well maybe it's finally time to learn that as well lol. It's not like the main purpose of this blog is to actually write content.
