Let the sun shine through.

I’ve always felt disconcerted when someone has said, “your photos capture nature so well.” Nature cannot be captured. There is too much life, unrevealed and at play, to be captured in a frame. A photo is merely a window that opens to imagine the nature of life. #robertschoutphotos #wisdomphoto

I don’t know how I became tethered.

I miss the silence of this path.
I could hear the crystals falling through the air. I could feel the crunch as each foot fall compressed cottoned snow into the earth. The heavy breath of trees sleeping along the path called me to be quiet. I long for all of this today.
