Well while Obama and Biden were open to alternatives trump doesn't seem to be. If a big solar company or windmill company gave him huge kickbacks that might change. It's sad we have a president that doesn't give a shit about people.

I was reading. There are some plastics that use 0% platics but they seem to not be hard enough to be able to use it for certain products. Hopefully this will change. It looks like Mycelium-based materiels are promising, they're used to make coolers and protective packaging.

My father had the Bolt which he lemon lawed and now he has the Equinox. The problem with American EV's is they have a lot of issues. Also their warranties suck compared to other countries cars.

There is plastic not made from oil, they're made from renewable sources like corn, sugarcane, saw dust and food waste. Lubricants can be made synthetically like oil for cars.

When solid state batteries come out (I think Toyota said next year) batteries will be smaller, easier to make and some solid state batteries don't even use lithium. Then I think there would be a kick again in electric cars...but trump doesn't like electric cars so he's going ot push back.

Ok, I looked him up and from what I see in his titles he is against trump. But he should also talk about the positives of getting away from oil and looking at possiblities. The problems with batteies is companies are using dirty lithium to cut corners. We have to also have more wind and solar fields

And it's that way of thinking that will make that true. I know people will have classic cars (even when new cars now become classic) but if we try we can get away from oil at least 80% I believe.

Where did you hear this? I read trump reopened hundreds of millions of acres for drilling. If refineries closed it's because of economic factors like supply shifts, maintenance issues or corporate strategy not because of trump. trump just wants to drill.
