I don't have anywhere else to post an obituary, but he deserves one. Beau was our 'baked potato.' An excellent, if reluctant, big brother. He suffered with epilepsy, and his life became seizure-recover-repeat. But he was a good boy. He can rest easy now.

Ron Krebs and I have a chapter in this new volume edited by Kreps and Kriner. The chapter explores a pattern we observed in surveys: Sephardic or Mizrahi Jewish respondents and nonwhite respondents show greater casualty sensitivity than do their Ashkenazi or white counterparts.
