I am an atheist. I was never even able to believe in Santa Claus as a child. But I know what Catholicism is. It's not something "à la carte". It's dogmatic. Americans think they can question everything because they are surrounded by protestantism. Ask the Pilgrims why they fled Europe.

You don't get to decide what Catholicism is. You can always start your own religion from your basement or garage. But the Catholic Church doesn't care what "Monica whoever" thinks. It's been around for millenia and will still be around when "Monica whoever" will be long forgotten.
