I have no idea what the White House expects this will do. History books will be written.

Why wouldn't they start with megachurches before food pantries?

The irony being he's literally asserting something he doesn't want pointed out explicitly but has already been tried twice.

By the way, does anyone know if Donny pardoned them or is it is not those who tried violence in his name that deserve pardons?

Of course not, it was a basic thing to have already done. It's so easy, not doing is a choice.

You can't reproduce the Mona Lisa. You can paint your own picture learning from the Mona Lisa.

And India's information shouldn't be in search engine results either. This very old bit of technology called a robots.txt file.

The problem is they want to have their cake and eat it too.

Yes. It doesn't plagiarize. I can read articles online and create my own.

AI doesn't republish your article. It is like a search engine. Don't like AI? Use a robots.txt file. Search engines won't provide links so to your article but your position will be coherent.

I want to make sure I am clear because you seem a little rude and willingly obtuse.

I can read an article freely available on an Indian Website. I can gain knowledge. I can use that knowledge to write my own article. I can't *plagiarize* but I can synthesize. Synthesize is what AI does.
January 26, 2025 at 3:08 AM
Commercial use, right. Explain how any AI is commercially profiting from any specific source. They aren't. A computational model is synthesizing many freely available sources but not explicitly copying any.

AI does what my brain dies when I read something.

I would insist that the company complaining have a consistent standard. Either they allow or block free access and use. For example, not allowing your content to be read and analyzed by a program for use generating content from it would also ban search engines.

I can look at a painting which is hosted on a website and remember it. Because, I have a brain.

If you put a book online for anyone to read it then, anyone can read it. Anyone can learn it and remember it. If you don't want anyone reading, learning, or remembering, secure it.

I don't know and I don't care. Publicly available information is publicly available. If you don't want others to use your data, don't make it public.

As an aside, ChatGPT could use the information pulled from Internet Archive.

A lovers' quarrel so soon?

Not exactly "Backing the Blue."
January 22, 2025 at 8:36 PM
It seems odd that publicly accessible data can be a problem like this. Internet Archive also stores articles from websites as I recall.

Pardoning people involved in an insurrection should imply (to all reasonable people) that he approves of the insurrection and his actions on that day represent participation in it..

Weakness, sad.
