I checked this piece out on another website. It turns out to be the first painting that Van Gogh painted in Arles.

Isn’t having both “street” and “lane” in the name redundant (in an intriguing way)?

I enjoyed it. Rumor has it that Scorsese will direct the film version. That would be nifty.
