I can't help but image a scenario where the Trump administration brings back The House Un-American Activities Committee and attacks teachers who teach the "unorthodox" version of American history (i.e. the version not sanctioned by Trump and PragerU) as unpatriotic woke communists.

I tend to avoid politics online has much as I can because it tends to affect me very negatively mental health wise, and these past two weeks are especially a case to why I try to focus on stuff I enjoy rather than see what Trump is up to this time.

Oh wow, didn't know. To be fair I've been purposely avoided political news post-Trump returning to the White House since it's been crazy so far.

it seems that in some aspects of the state of this country, we appear to be reaching the same state of decay seen in the late Roman Republic. Idk, maybe I'm overreacting in saying that.
