States could enact a progressive tax on grid electricity consumption, and that would solve the problem. I think that would be an easy issue to get onto ballots via petition.

What can they do? Half of GOP voters will support Trump no matter what he does or did. Impeaching him would divide the party and hand control to the Democrats for decades. And then we'd probably have to deal with a simmering insurrection. If there's a way out of this, it will be surreptitious.

My comment was "he thinks all Scandinavians are white", although I was making a broad statement about Trump's simplistic world view and desire to encourage immigration of wealthy, white people to the US.

This situation was and is completely avoidable through sensible legislation. Congress needs to either grow up and get to work solving real problems or they need to get out.

I laugh every time he says he wants more immigrants from Norway or Sweden--two of the happiest countries in the world. Also, he thinks all Scandinavians are white.

Marquee players like Rodman are already getting paid through endorsements, far above their club salaries. Leave the club caps in place, with a growth trajectory. Choking off broad investment now hurts the league at a time when mid-tier players have increasingly attractive options in USLS and NSL.

This sounds like a way to increase the salary cap, while simultaneously forcing clubs to invest in individual talent. It is a mistake for a club to rely on one or two key players for success. Injury or leave wrecks your season. Resilient clubs develop their whole rosters and player cohesion.
