I also saw a load of war memorials. Too many for one day really, and collectively they left me pretty raw. The Käthe Kollwitz at the Neue Wache was the one that will probably stay with me longest, although perhaps in good part as a result of the extraordinary light during my visit.

The expo of Peter Peri’s work soon to end at Kunsthaus Dahlem is an absolute revelation. So glad to have made it Berlin to see it despite the insanity of attempting a day return in mid-winter. Peri’s explorations of sculptural space and form are so much more interesting than he is given credit for.
