A quick intro - I craft authentic, compelling films with human stories at their heart.

I love working with people who have lived experience, supporting specific narratives and helping contributors tell their stories naturally on camera.

This survey will come as no surprise to many filmmaking professionals but it does not bode well for the UK's much vaunted "creative industries". A career that is already not diverse enough will get even less so as the regular work of factual TV and broadcast drama evaporates.

Cinema RAW LT is an amazingly efficient way of getting the most dynamic range and colour out of the latest Canon cameras but it's still processor-intensive to manipulate in post. I'm more likely to use it in future with Adobe adding hardware acceleration for it. Is anyone using it regularly?

A documentary that selects and shuffles the narrative blocks every time it’s watched is fascinating, and very #BrianEno. I can only imagine the amount of post production required. It would be so interesting try this approach tried with a short drama.

We DO need more diversity, but according to BECTU figures in July, 51% were out of work - for minority ethnic colleagues it's over 60%. We already have a class problem (8% working class); how can we expect ppl to enter such a precarious industry unless they don't need to work?
