Another exciting day in the ReindeerFlux project!🦌 Frida and @colebrachmann.bsky.social measured CO₂ & CH₄, while Alex and Johan flew drones with radar, multispectral & NDVI sensors. Thanks @svtnyheter.bsky.social’s Susan & Henrik for visiting—loved sharing our work in beautiful Grövelsjön! 🌿

🎓 Our final APE@GU undergrad spotlight of the year is on Ingrid! 🌟 She established and refined our ergosterol protocol to better understand how reindeer affect mycorrhizal mycelium production. 🦌🍄 Fantastic work, Ingrid — way to go! 👏🎉 #Arctic #Mycorrhiza #BScThesis

Huge congratulations to Maja on an outstanding MSc thesis! 🎓🦌 Your work has shed new light on how reindeer influence methane (CH₄) fluxes in the Scandes mountains — a valuable step forward in understanding Arctic greenhouse gas dynamics.

One of the many great aspects of working in an Earth Science department is the wide range of fascinating topics you can explore. Today, Sandra Siljeström from RISE gave an engaging talk about the NASA Perseverance rover's mission on Mars, and its search for life in an ancient paleolake.
