I am an avid cyclist who enjoys multi-day rides with my wife and friends. My wife and I started riding in 2015 and have a wealth of new, active, friends to enjoy the country with. Our longest ride to date was 44 days crossing the southern U.S.

I have often thought we sometimes get the government and social norms we deserve, based on our level of engagement. What we have today suggests that standards are more flexible than I hoped.
