I'm reading the "housing growth" bill passed in a special session without public hearing. There are key aspects of neoliberal deregulation of land redevelopment similar to charter school concept. Here is a buried "priority housing development zone." This isn't about housing or affordability. (p. 37)

On 11/3 my class, Latinx Urban Activism, visited the Wadsworth Atheneum & SOFÍA GALLISÁ MURIENTE/MATRIX 197. It explored difficult story of Puerto Rican nationalist Víctor Gerena & mother, Gloria, social worker & leader in Hartford. Special thanks to guide & Trinity alum Meg Smith '21.

I am at the State Board of Education tonight in North Haven, CT. On the agenda are a Declaratory Ruling regarding the distinction of initial approval and funding of a new Capital Prep Charter School and two reports on investigation of Hartford and Bridgeport Public Schools.
