I mean I won't say that it was the worst, but I also don't think it was better than Rogue One. R.O. is an essential piece of S.W. canon. T.F.A. is little more than A New Hope pt "Too". Better yet it's Temu A New Hope. Cool visuals, but a retread done half-assedly.

I swear to you, even though I knew damn well that none of them would survive, it still hurt seeing each of them go. But damn if that Vader hallway scene didn't turn Anakin into the stuff of nightmares 😂!

I wouldn't argue that Rogue One is a masterpiece but it does hold up in its own even without the addition of the Andor series. The sequels are, in the words of Springfield Mark Hamill, a "... conceptual nightmare". Completely irredeemable imo.

No, it wasn't a bad movie. It was a film that was nearly destroyed by the same tomfoolery that sharted out the sequels, and Solo. I've watched Rogue One countless times since its release. I can't say the same for the sequels.

That's where the genius of Andor comes into play! Everything in the first half of Rogue One is recontextualized thanks to Andor. The sequels, and Solo are littered with far too many boneheaded mistakes to be excused.

I gotta vehemently disagree. Call me a snob but Rogue One is the only good film to come out of WaltLucasFilm. And I'm even willing to say that Andor should be in the number 2 spot behind Empire even if it wasn't a movie!

I so empathize with you. I do not suffer from PTSD, but I do have severe social anxiety disorder. A small victory to some is monumental to others. This is a victory on your part. Acknowledge it, and use it to fuel your next victory.
