This is one of my favorite shots from #BearCamp last month. Having eaten her fill of clams, this bear ambled toward us, passing within maybe 10 yards before cresting a sandbar. This was all I could see from the other side of the hill, and it made me chuckle a bit.

This handsome fella was so unbothered by our group of #bear watchers, he took a nap right in front of us. When he finally woke up, he did a few stretches to make sure he was ready to catch salmon. Look at the size of those paws! #brownbear #coastalgrizzly
