I don't care.

Greetings from Berlin. Germany's data centres are in many cases 100% run on renewables, and the heat generated often serves to warm nearby communities. Hearing this nonsense about natural gas makes my former country sound awfully retrograde. But, I enjoy listening to Good Talk.

Except that telling people that you don't care isn't what you do when you don't care :)

It could be that superior scouting and having lots of picks trumps landing in the top three a couple of times. Anyway, rebuilding teams usually have several in the first two rounds, for years. Rebuilds also fail, like Buffalo...or Edmonton, until they won the lottery. Can't count on that in Van :)

Like others here, I don't quite buy it because of the numerous redrafts which have shown three other players at the top, rather than those who were selected. The Canucks took Virtanen 6th in the same year that Pastrnak went 25th. Drafting high is always good, but this is a statistical fluke.

Conspicuous, that nobody in the media is interested in the question, how many roster injuries is the record? Probably because there is no way of finding out. I'm surely not the only person who wonders about that, with 9 missing.

I remember Sami Salo. But, I don't ever remember this many injuries at once. Are there NHL records on this sort of thing?

A question that I've been asking myself for a long time is, whatever happened to the hyphen? Completely abandoned, yet it did have a function. I'm the last Mohican.

Why Willander now? That one is curious.

Would feel perfectly fine if 40 weren't on pace for 41 points.

Just because he will be better at 19 doesn't mean that he can't already be good at 18. The press corps sounds like a bunch of old guys saying, "we've always done it this way...".

Canucks are capped out at last year's team, plus Kane, minus Suter. Hm.
