I listened to a talk by Valerie Brown, who spoke of our moral duty as citizens to address the root cause of injustice and to engage with compassion. She then cited Archbishop Romeo as saying that we are building cathedrals. I wonder what cathedral we can build today.

I can't imagine life without a good teacher. I still remember my elementary school teachers, my favorite high school teacher, and my favorite nursing instructor. They hold a special place in my heart, none more than my Rsohi. Who was your favorite teacher? Do you remember how they impacted you?

A group from the Missouri Zen Center - now spread all over the country joints on Zoom Monday through Friday at 5:30 a.m. Mountain Time. We end with the robe chant. It is interesting how small actions to start the day helps me to feel more unity with my friends, work, and community.
