The Greens materially want to improve the lot of the economic non-elites and to make the elites pay their fair share.

One Nation just ventilate culture war grievances, pretending that their foes are elites and they're sticking it to the establishment. The anti-elitism is rhetorical not material.

100%. Apart from the cruelty being unnecessary, there is an opportunity cost. The affected people have to waste their energy dealing with this and the resulting financial distress rather than living up to their potential. It also demonstrably makes people unsafe - PIT raises risk of DV.
