Any colony that requires constant resupplying has failed through history. How they think the logistics of going to and living on Mars would look is beyond me. Magical thinking hubris lol

I thought it was a misstep when they killed The One Who Sits Above The High Table because the implication was that he’s their ultimate arbiter and yet his death ended up being extremely inconsequential.

It’s the byproduct of the commodification of everything. Why bother really ingesting and retaining information if it’s not 100% directly tied to immediate income? It’s viewed as a frivolous waste of time and energy.

Yeah, that cultural attitude is going to go well further down the line. 🤦‍♂️
