Yes, but the fact that Trump said he would put them in prison if they did not come out public in support of him, probably helped get them over the fence as well.

I've been looking at countries in South America with relatively large communities of American ex-pats. Argentina and even Mexico for example are said to have very good health care and a much lower cost of living.

Anybody else remember President Biden saying that Trump would put an end to democracy? It only took him 30 days. Nothing else really to see here at this point.

Unfortunately, that was back when the opposing army fought on foot with guns that only shot one shot every minute and a half. Unless the military refuses Trump's orders, the best thing for any American with the means to do is to get the F out of the USA.
