Shocker…the clamber to start Maatsen, Guessand and Malen made zero difference. I fact. Not only did it make zero difference but it destroyed the bench and options to bring on. Almost like Emery was making a statement with that.

Exactly how I felt. Haven’t really engaged with anything Villa related since the weekend and felt (probably wrongly) like end of the season for me and end of the positivity I was feeling. Probably an overreaction and still a lot to play for, but it was an awful feeling.
