Disney made a calculation that their customers wouldn't respond to Kimmel's firing, at least not enough to counteract the potential economic damage of Trump's threat. This math needs to be changed if any result is to be gained. Someone like Obama needs to call for a national boycott of Disney.

Chanterelles don't have gills, they have ridges called false gills. Gills are blade-like, thin and can be removed. Ridges, tho, can't be removed without damaging the mushroom. The false chanterelle has true gills. True chanterelles emerge from the soil, false grow on dead trees, or woody debris.

This is part and parcel of his fascist militarizing of civil life. The UFC is at the core of his youth fascist movement.

I don't think it's appreciated how stupid and vindictive Trump is, and that he knows that he's seen as stupid, especially by academics and scientists. He strikes out to show them that he's got power and that he doesn't care about the effects, I suspect because he's too stupid to appreciate it.

Unless there is a drought, it's a threat of uncertain seriousness. The water has to go somewhere and they won't risk the dam structure. Reducing the flow might go on for a while, tho, and if at a critical time would be deadly. India can also refuse to share hydro data making Pak ag plans worth less.

Having the opinion of a hydrologist familiar with the situation would give some needed context. It is quite possible that flow can be cut off only for hours before the dam is overtopped, or structurally threatened. The reservoir isn't a bottomless pit, and the flows will not stop.
