Since Bush, Blair, Berlusconi and other good christians got away with it, Trump too will. Isn't about time that all leaders can be held accountable for their actions, not just those of 'bad' countries? Nobody will do it in the afterlife, as there is nobody there. Alas, the ICC is not the answer.

Niet dat we over H'ler niets dan goeds moeten vertellen, maar EvD vond ik als adolescent wel boeiend, spannend, mysterieus, tot de verbeelding sprekend, tot ik doorkreeg dat het inderdaad om verbeelding en inbeelding ging. Fantastische fantasie. Maar dat het wel fantasie is, moet duidelijk gemaakt.

Christianity can't, nor can Buddhism, Zoroastrism, Jewish faith, Islam or any other religion. Only a scientist can, and it all starts with the functioning of mirror neurons. 'Evil' can differ in different environments and evolves with social changes and the advances in science.

The issues are not about business models any more. World leaders need to learn what it is all about. They need scientific education, espacially in the US.

Two secular democracies destroyed Iran's early democracy. An other secular democracy had kept a fundamentalist religious leader at hand, assuming he could come in handy one day. They all thought it had been a good idea because he was no communist. Oil greed can be wrong with secular democracy.

Largest oil producer is not synonymous with largest oil reserves. Furthermore, there is not 'plenty of it', I'm afraid, not at all. There is only enough oil for about four to five few decades, half a century. Look at www.worldometers.info/oil/ and the other statistics about natural gas and coal.

Uiteraard was er 'de' zondvloed, en meer dan 1000 andere. Zoals iemand reageerde: het zeepeil steeg 'meer dan 100 meter', nadat er wereldwijd en massaal ijs smolt en een groot deel daarvan in zee terecht kwam. Er waren zowel zoet- als zout-watervloeden, maar niet die uit Bijbels en Koran.
