We have always been a society that has revered the rich. I’ve never quite understood that, but that’s who we are.

Trump and Musk are a symptom of that.

If you have not yet watched #Brockmire, please get on it. It’s hilarious yet thought-provoking. It’s also frighteningly relatable for me.

A man who was beaten on Jan 6th and whose mother had a bag of shit thrown at her in her own yard is getting an order of protection for his family’s safety.

Those orders aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on. Almost every time they’re only enforced after they’ve been violated.

I am going back to the ways of my youth when it comes to just about everything. Indie bookstores, record stores and pretty much everything else. No more Amazon. No more digital music.

I know this sounds weak, I know it.

But kindness is one of the few things we carry that can make a difference for each other.

We can’t undo all this hate, but we can still make life a little easier for others.

Buy physical books. Buy CDs and records. Buy DVDs.

You cannot count on streaming and digital services to preserve these things. It’s up to us to be the caretakers of art, music, literature, film and everything else.

Just had to post this because it seems so appropriate for anyone in DC right now.

Wish I could get the Village People to sing it during the inauguration 😂

I am not surprised at all. The original show, to me; is one of the greatest sitcoms of all time. It’s nearly impossible, though, to recapture the absolute magic that the original cast brought to the screen.
