True story with no obvious parable:
Musk’s Boring Co. when, digging up Crenshaw by SpaceX, had no posted “no trespassing” on there flimsy fences, nor did security. At night, if you wanted, you could just go down into the hole and wander around. It struck me as wreckless and empty headed.
