I want to stop shopping Amazon. Unfortunately, @bookshop.org can't seem to ship books promptly. I placed an order Dec. 3, and they haven't shipped yet. I'm being told they'll probably come by Xmas eve. Inexcusable.

I just got back from a trip to London, a city I have not visited since 1990. Pleased to see some of these are still around. Unfortunately, @robynhitchcock.bsky.social was not inside playing "Veins of the Queen."
