much to your commented disdain of the entire money system in MLB now, it's like a team like MKE (outside of a WS win) won't exist within the HOF going forward for fans born after 1980 or so. Not many Yount types that will be HOF players and be kept/stay in the small market now.

yea, i get why teams have their own, but also, it also sucks to think that i could go visit Cooperstown in 20 years and know the brewers were a near-constant playoff team and there'll be so little representation of them because of no HOF star-level talent

almost like, if you make your home team's wall of fame or whatever each calls it, you get put into the HOFs "eras" wing for that team

this is a more general HOF comment, but it does kind of suck to think of guy who was a/the top player on a team that was in many postseasons & outside of MKE, will never be remembered. like HOF should have an "eras" section for every decade for each team so every fan can enjoy their best guys

couldn't help thinking saturday night that if they hadn't laid a turd covered egg vs Maryland, they'd be playing for a bowl game this week, SMH. Also thinking how much narrative is formed by sequence of events-had these wins been in diff spots & no 6-game losing streak, 5 wins isn't a dumpster fire

couldn't help thinking saturday night that if they hadn't laid a turd covered egg vs Maryland, they'd be playing for a bowl game this week, SMH. Also thinking how much narrative is formed by sequence of events-had these wins been in diff spots & no 6-game losing streak, 5 wins isn't a dumpster fire
I'm curious what Ravens DVOA for season is vs what it's been since Lamar has been back, could see GB opp DVOA being higher given current state of teams they'll be playing

Just another decision of going after Edwards in first place- knowing he doesnt fit what new OC needs- seems to fit with the entire lack of planning/foresight/focus of the staff. Glad the players show they can execute when given a good/consistent gameplan/focus

I was floored when broadcast said last week they knew they couldn’t run Grimes O with Edwards and after O’Neil was hurt they stuck with Simmons solely because he was closer to Edwards in style, even if that’s a style that doesn’t fit the O. No wonder OL and run game look better with mobile QB

sadly, i feel that expenditure all but guarantees they move Freddy to save money. I don't think they can get back any amount of useful farm talent close to what a top10 NL pitcher making 8M is worth, but i'm sure they'll want to pinch where they can

i like that one of his knocks on Love is that the GB defense played NYG QB3, as if Love plays defense too lol

The complaint is less Parsons and more everyone else that should benefit from those pressures. Plenty of INT chances when he gets pressures and just not getting benefit. Outside of early weeks, feels like other rushers also aren’t cleaning up for sacks on pressures he starts

And while frustrating in season, it’ll be worth the oversold expectations their fans ride on only to get smoked in postseason, like MN couple years ago that was like 10-0 in 1 score games

I mean, what’s the definition you’re using for “any good”? They have shooting, size, multiple ball handlers for crunch time. As with any team, quality of depth is an unknown, and the defense needs improvement, but they’ll score enough to be in probably every game

Seems like the OL has been the consistent problem this year and offense wasn’t like this the last 2. Hard to get consistent success when that group is so inconsistent
