Something completely new: I made thumbnail sketches for my version of the Pawn Shop scene from The Rescuers. Someday, I want to reanimate this scene with a more attractive Medusa and many more foot and leg shots.

I've been studying anatomy all week and last night I decided to pause that and start a figure. Here's the gesture with a few guidelines for proportions so I don't get lost. First I've done in about a year.

Feeling brave enough to post this. Figure sketch copy thing I did just now. First full figure I've done in about a year or so. It's SHIT but I'm proud of it and had fun making it.

Made a quick animatic of the walk cycle I'm working on and cut it into the pawn shop scene from The Rescuers. Next I'll finish an animatic of the pedal pumping sequence and redraw/draw the suitcase loadand step into the car sequences. #animation #pedalpumping #highheels #madamemedusa #therescuers

For context, the pedal pumping animation I've been working on and posting is basically copied straight from 'The Rescuers.' I'm not tracing over the original scene or anything, as I'm drawing a different style of shoe, but I am matching the same motions. Credit to Dale Baer!

I'm re-animating parts of the "pawn shop" scene from 'The Rescuers' (1977) to add slightly more realistic heels to Madame Medusa and additional high heel and pedal pumping shots.
