4. If you recommend a sequel to a film, I am going to also watch the ones before it. Well done, you have found a loophole to rule 3.
5. There is one film and one film series I refuse to watch. Let's see if anyone gets it.

Here are the rules:
1. Only recommend films, I will not watch TV series.
2. If I have watched the film already, I will not watch it again (but I will let you know I have watched it).
3. You can recommend up to 2 films.

In essence, your work is awesome, keep doing it, fuck the haters and thrive in the face of those who try to stop you, so that you might give hope to those who need it.

And lastly, there are so many people affected by these rulings in both archaeology and wider academia. Your point of view can be invaluable to others, and provide hope in these dark times. If nothing else, you are helping people feel they have allies in academia that they can look to for support.

Secondly, as academics one of the best ways we can influence policies is by publishing high quality, impactful research which challenges the injustices we see. Well argued and evidenced facts are essential for change.

Firstly because laws change, and at the moment we have to play the long game. Sure, it would be amazing to see your ideas implemented tomorrow, but if that's not possible at least we can hope they are implemented as soon as possible.

This is a terrible situation and I'm not sure what practical advice to give. I would chat with your supervisor as I'm sure they will be able to help on next steps. What I would love to say is that your work is stil invaluable, even if for stupid reasons the suggestions you are making are "illegal".

There will come a day when this whole stupid debate is forgotten, and people will just be allowed to (legally) be who they are.

That day may not be today, but it will come.

Until then, just keep being yourself in full defiance of those who aim to bring you down.

Much deserved ;)

I would love to see a history update, really expanding on the lore of all the structures they have introduced through the years :) makes up for the archaeology update which was a bit lacklustre. I am biased though :p

Don’t let the negative comment get you down. For every one bad one there are always thousands of ones supporting your great work :) there’s a reason you are the first MTG content creator to reach a million.
