Thanks for the comprehensive answer 🙏 Factory finish is always best, especially on a restored item 👌I’m considering whether to use #Lanoguard to preserve original metal finishes on my modern classics : have you used it at all on your bikes ?🤔

Did you blast and repaint the metal base before refoaming and recovering the seat Craig ? 🤔 The finish looks factory and top quality 🙌
