Overall this is imo what Spider-Man should be firing on all cylinders. Compelling characters and fun action.

I even enjoyed the new villain introduced, he has a unique concept and fun execution.

I also loved how tombstone knows Spider-Man so well that he knew Norman is the fraud. I like how Spider-Mans villains have such a deep relationship to Spider-Man to the point where they can just know it isn't him Can't fight someone many times without knowing who they are as a person to some degree.

Even Ben has his moments like his conflicted feelings about Peter getting the credit for what he is doing.

The whole aunt may scene is arguably her best scene in a while.

Not sure which arc I prefer so far (Peter in space, and Norman as Spider-Man), but ngl this is probably the best issue of the whole run so far. I love pretty much everything about it. Norman trying his best and seeing his internal struggles, peak Spider-Man tbh.

I saw both in theaters but yeah that was a questionable decision.

Kirk, at least Millhouse has a friend.

I feel "mary sue" as a term should just be retired and not used anymore. It's clear people don't know what it means anymore and it just is used as "women in media I don't like"
