I don’t think you can ever have enough tulett types. That’s how uae wins all these races? I think the more we can get the better. We don’t really have a lot of punchy climbing guys. We already have so many helpers I think they need to prioritize more punchy climbing guys who can win race and develop

I second that one of my more non liked UAE Rider. Don’t like anything about him haha

Plus I think he’s actually the most similar rider to Laporte has good punch/kick obvi not on Laporte yet but can TT on the flat and climb better than most people think. Plus we have seen him being able to jump in breaks reliably which is important in the tour.

Personally would take hagens if I had the choice. Has the highest ceiling of them all is more versatile when it’s come to being able to climb. Plus he looks to be in good shape. He hasn’t ridden the tour sure but he rode Roubaix and Flanders both huge races. Don’t think the tour will be overwhelming

That’s just wrong because the guy who won literally got dropped off after the corner and sprinted from 300 to go and won so??? Affini wasn’t cooked tho that’s my point Kooij switched off and edo continued to pull for 600 meters. Even if edo is cooked after the corner you just switch off his wheel?

I mean you can literally go watch it back. Edo closes the front duo and then a few hundred meters later at like 900 to go Kooij switches off edos wheel. Then edo continues to pull on wheel 2 all the way to the final corner keeping a would be Kooij in great position if he was on his wheel.

I think if your being fair here. If Kooij follows Edo then he wins easily. He backed off his wheel in the last corners and that’s what cost him in the finals. Sure everyone’s wants an extra leadout but the reality was there leadout was really good by edo and kooij should have followed his wheel.

Honestly rather meno than loe. Personally think once his contract is up after next season he’s gone. He’s basically another flat domestique with a little bit of climbing. And meno has already showed a lot more than loe.

Tbh this was expected. I think people got there hopes up way to high. As soon as Visma were saying no TDF it’s pretty much over he reached his ceiling here. I will say loosing him hurts but I don’t think it’s the end of the world. Maybe controversial but I thought he didn’t look as good this year.
